The old Acer Aspire S3 configuration was good, you got an Intel Core i5 processor running at 1.6 GHz and a 320 GB (5,400 RPM) traditional hard disk. But now, it seems that Acer has learned that this configuration with a price tag of $899 is not enough to compete with the all time hit Apple MacBook Air. So, Acer has upgraded the configuration of the Aspire S3 ultrabook, which is going to be made available to the public in the coming future.
