Samsung's first desktop computer in the US

Samsung has been seeing a lot of success in the smartphone industry in the US market. It sold a staggering number of units of its powerful Galaxy S II smartphone. With the same spirit, the company is all ready to release its first desktop computer in the country, an all in one. This is another direct competition to Apple’s iMac. But has the Samsung desktop all in one got all it takes to face the iMac? Lets have a look.

The Samsung desktop is coming in two versions, one costs you $999 and the other costs you #1,199. Both versions have the common 23-inch display, which is also supports two finger touch gestures. But the similarity of the two versions ends there. The $999 version comes with an Intel Core i3 processor while the $1,199 version runs on an Intel Core i5 processor. Also, the $999 version has 6GB of RAM while the $1,199 version has 8GB of RAM.

So, what do you think? Will you buy this one over an Apple iMac? The low price tag on this desktop computer should compensate to the low specs on the computer. But still, the big 23-inch multi-touch display should do some magic on the buyers, dont you think?
