The app has a very cool user interface as well. I have already mentioned its Flash based. So it has some animations and sounds. You can disable the sounds if you want though. The app connects to XiMAD.com when you launch it. Then, you can either list all the slang there is in the app’s database or you can start the app to get the categories. The database is divided into categories like Business Slang, Online Jargon, Every Parent Should Know, Text Lingo, Popular Stuff and Harsh Stuff. I dont think I have to explain the categories.
When you tap on one of these categories, all the slang under that category will be displayed in a list on the screen. You can then search for a particular slang using the search text field or just scroll through all of them. With every slag, there is a favorite icon provided. You can tap on that to mark that slang as one of your favorites.
If you find any slang missing in the app, or find a new one, you can then easily add that slang to the dictionary yourself very easily, just tap on the ADD button. You can then enter the details of the new slang on the next screen. If you go back to the very first menu, or the home screen of the app, you will get a tool bar at the bottom of the app. There you can see a few options. You can turn the volume off using the volume off button and you can see a star there as well. This holds all your favorite slang that you have marked. I’ve added a few slang to test. You can see that they are listed under the favorites category.
Then, in the same menu, you can see the mail icon. You can share the app with your friends and family using this option of the app. If you tap on this, you will get a confirmation message saying that the phone’s SMS composer. Apps usually get the link of the app on the Ovi Store for such sharing options. But this app, however, will just ask the receiver to search it in the Ovi Store.
