Acer Iconia Tab A200 smallWe have been listening a few rumors about Acer’s new offering to the Android tablet world, the Iconia Tab A200. We have seen a photo of the tablet leaked (shown here), and we also know that the tablet has passed the Bluetooth certification test. But other than this much info, we dont really have a lot. But thanks to FCC, we may know a bit more detail about the tablet.

Acer Iconia Tab A200 FCC leaked image

An image leaked from the FCC labs give the dimensions of the tablet, and according to these measurements given in the image, the Acer Iconia Tab A200 is going to have a 10-inch display, or an 8.7- or 8.9-inch display with a really big bezel which will make it bad looking. But according to the leaked image, the bezel is not so big, which really makes me think that it is going to have a 10-inch display.

It is being said that the Iconia Tab A200 is an update to the 7-inch Acer Iconia Tab A100, which has been released very recently. If it an update to the A100 tablet, Acer is releasing the update really quickly. But nothing is for sure as of now.

Also, we dont know what version of Android the tablet will be shipped with, but my strong belief which is backed up the fact that Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) has already been released, is that the tablet will feature Ice Cream Sandwich. In any case, stay tuned to get more info.
