If you dig deep into the Apple world, there is not one, not two, but hundreds of rumors surfacing every single of day. Now, we have yet another. Apple introduced the Retina display on the iPhone last year, and eventually it came to the iPod Touch as well. The display is gorgeous by no doubt. The dpi on the display reach 326, which is very good for a smartphone.
The Retina display was dubbed as the display on which you can never see the pixels with naked eye, true to its words, I can say. But with the launch of the iPad 2, we had thought that Apple may bring the awesome Retina display to the big screen as well. But unfortunately, the same old resolution of 1024×768 pixels, which is found on the first generation of iPad, was retained on the iPad 2. This was a bit disappointing.
After knowing this, probably, Apple seems to have started working on a new model of iPad, which is rumored as the iPad HD. This model is said to have a brilliant HD screen, quite obvious from the name. The resolution is said to have been pumped up to 2048 x 1536 pixels, which is really interesting.
This rumor seems to have a match as there is another rumor which says that Apple is preparing to start HD movie rental service. Something interesting is definitely going on. And this iPad HD is not iPad 3, apparently, this is a new line of iPads. iPad 3 will also be released, some time in the future. Stay tuned to get more news about the same.
