For all of you who have been waiting eagerly for the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, here is a sweet news. Samsung has finally opened up pre-orders for the 8.9 inch tablet. Samsung announced this on Monday, and if you order now, your tablets will be shipped on October 2nd. The 16GB version of the Tab 8.9 will cost you $469 and the 32GB version will cost you a 100 bucks more at $569.
If you notice the price tags for these tablets, you’ll realize that by paying just $30 more on the tablets, you can bag the equivalent version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1. So what’s the big deal in buying an 8.9 inch tablet. People who can spend $469 on a 16GB 8.9 inch tablet can definitely spend $499 on a 16GB 10.1 inch tablet, for sure.
So the difference comes in the screen size. 10.1 inch is sometimes considered a bit too large for a tablet. 9.7 inch, on the other hand, is for some reason considered the best (I’m talking about the iPad 2). But 8.9 inch is somewhat good, not too big or not too small, just the perfect size for anything you do, assuming that you dont spend most of your time creating content.
Anyway, if you were looking for a Galaxy Tab 8.9, you should probably pre-order yours right now.
