MSI GT680, Intel’s Sandy Bridge-powered laptop

MSI is finally shipping its Sandy Bridge-powered GT680 laptop. But the shipping is being done only to its North American customers. The laptop looks really cool and and the specs are also pretty awesome. This can be user laptop if you are a serious gamer or too much into a multimedia and graphics.

The specs are given below:

  • 15.6-inch full HD glossy LED display (16:9 aspect ratio)
  • Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0
  • Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M graphics with 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory
  • Up to 16GB of DDR3 SO-DIMM memory (via four open slots)
  • Connectivity: Two USB 3.0 ports, Two USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, VGA, HDMI, Ethernet, Microphone, Headphones
  • Intel Hyper-Threading Technology
  • DVD Super-Multi optical drive
  • 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi

The laptop can be yours if you lighten you wallet by $1,649. But there is no news of when the company will start shipping this to other parts of the world.
