We have seen a lot of rumors about the yet to be announced Samsung Galaxy Note II. And even though it has not been officially announced, we have come to the conclusion that there is going to be a Galaxy Note II at the event on the 29th of August. Let’s hope we do actually get to see the awesome rumored device. The only thing we know about this device which seems to sound possible is a bigger 5.5 inch screen compared to the 5.3 inch on the current Note.
Korea Times seems to have got some more info on this and says that the 5.5 inch screen will also be bendable, with a curve. Although, it is a doubt that the whole display will be flexible. The newspaper suggests that here might be a curve of some kind on the display. We can very well guess that this could be like the curved displays on Samsung’s other phones. GSMArena writes:
The AMOLED in question uses a Unbreakable Plane (UBP) and plastic substrate helping it reduce its thickness by 0.4mm. This may not sound like much, but on a 5.5″ screen, the space saved is enough for Samsung to employ a far larger battery without making the Note 2 any thicker than its predecessor.
If this turns out to be true, the device is for sure going to be a great hit. What do you think?
