AT&T Samsung Galaxy S III

If you have been waiting to get your hands on the new ‘Android King of the Year’, the Samsung Galaxy S III, then here is your chance to get one step closer. One of the four biggest wireless carriers of the United States, AT&T, has announced that it will be taking pre-orders for the awesome Samsung Galaxy S III starting June 6th, and that is just a day away.

And yes, you will get some hardware modifications in the smartphone compared to the international version. To begin with, the processor inside the smartphone will be changed. Instead of the Samsung Exynos quad-core processor, the AT&T Galaxy S III will be featuring a Qualcomm 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. This is in order to support the 4G LTE network of the carrier.

Also, if you are looking for some high performance, then you would be happy to know that even though they have degraded the processor, they have upgraded the RAM to 2GB, as apposed to 1GB RAM on the international version. I say that is a very big addition. Also, AT&T will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S III in red color, which is a bit weird looking, in my opinion.

Anyway, if you are planning to buy, AT&T will be selling the 16GB version of the smartphone for $199 and a 16GB microSD card for an additional charge of $39, making it a total of just $230 for the 32GB version. Interested? Then get ready to pre-order it tomorrow.
