Samsung’s New Tablet to Challenge Apple’s iPad

Samsung introduced a new tablet in the US to wrestle Apple’s share of the technical market. Samsung released Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet in South Korea, US and Britain weeks before it unwrapped the refurbished version of 5.3 Note smartphone. Apple always accuses Samsung for copying the features and design of iPhone and iPad. But this Samsung is hopeful of creating a positive vibration with its phone-cum-tablet Note. This Samsung Galaxy Note has already made a positive review amongst the techies.

Expert’s Opinion

According to Park Young, the analyst of Woori Investment & Securities in Seoul, cheaper tablets are available in the market nowadays. Apple too is said to manufacture inexpensive iPads. The general trend among the customers is not to bear much expense on tablets because smartphones are capable of delivering the same entertainment functionalities like the tablets.

However, Samsung is keen to distinguish its Note 10.1 from the other rival tablets.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1- The Principal Features

The Galaxy Note 10.1 is known for the screen size. The screen is a little larger than 9.7” iPad and the split-screen feature is really striking. You can use two apps at the same time beside one another – isn’t this a really amazing feature!!! Other key features of this Samsung tablet are:

  • It operates on quad-core processor having 1.4 GHz speed and Android software.
  • It has delighting 1.9 megapixel front facing and 5 megapixel rear facing camera. The stunning feature of the camera is it detects the eye movement of the user so that your device doesn’t go to standby mode.

Note 10.1 or iPad – which one will you buy? You may be wondering why you are asked so. It is because of the pricing – iPad is available at $599 whereas 23GB Samsung Galaxy Note is available at $549. Samsung and Apple have always been in neck-to-neck competition. Despite their fight for the supremacy, they nearly rule the smartphone market.
